Good Stress vs. Bad Stress

“Sometimes when people are under stress, they hate to think, and it's the time when they most need to think.”  -William J. Clinton

Often people associate stress with negativity.  However, experts indicate that there are two types of stress: good stress and bad stress.  Although you may have a lot to do today, good stress is more likely induced by situations within your control.  Good stress motivates you to complete daily tasks and achieve your goals.  Bad stress, on the other hand, is more likely induced by situations out of your control.  Bad stress can take its toll on you psychologically, spiritually, and even physically.  Today if you are facing a situation that is out of your control, I encourage you to think on nothing else but the goodness of God.  When life is bad, God is still good.  God has the power to change your situation, but even if He chooses not to then rest assured that He will help you endure it.

You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!  (Isaiah 26:3, NLT).
