Like Christ

“I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians.” –Muhatma Gandhi

People often choose not to become Christians because of other Christians.  Herein lies the problem: we may be the only Bible people ever choose to read.  Christ is the Word (John 1:1).  If we truely have Christ in us (Col. 1:27) then people ought to like what the read.  Like Christ we are not here to condemn the world.  Like Christ we must help the poor.  Like Christ we must surrender our lives for God's greater purpose.

Just as we have borne the image of the earthy, we will also bear the image of the heavenly  (1 Corinthians 15:49, NASB).
