God's Will

“I despaired at the thought that my life might slip by without seeing God show himself mightily on our behalf.” –Jim Cymbala

Ever wondered if maybe you’re trying to do too much without allowing God time to do His thing?  Think about it: you on your A-game without God are NOT better than you on your C-game with God.  In other words, you need God.  Whatever it is you’re trying to accomplish, pray for God’s will, and that if it is His will, He help you.  Just as importantly, also pray that God would close the doors that need to be shut.

For it is better to suffer for doing good, if that should be God’s will, than for doing evil  (1 Peter 3:17, NIV).
