Anger and Arguing

“Keep cool; anger is not an argument.”  -Daniel Webster

In the heat of an argument it can be easy to lose your temper, become animated, to which words begin to escape your mouth faster you can shove them back in.  Later on you ask yourself, “Was it really worth it?”  Of course there is no ill in expressing your position, however, my prayer is that your mouth doesn't cause you to sin in doing so.

Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear (Ephesians 4:29, ESV).
