“Find the good. It's all around you. Find it, showcase it and you'll start believing in it.”  -Jesse Owens

A couple of years ago I drove my SUV through an intersection and I was sideswiped by a sports car.  Glass shattered as I flipped; despite my intermittent agnosticism, impulsively I yelled: “Jesus.”  The roof of the passenger side became crushed in and upside down I hung by my seatbelt.  My door was jammed against the cement and I was stuck.  Immediately two off-duty paramedics, who happened to be right behind me, came and pried me out.  There wasn’t a scratch on me!  They told me had the car flipped the other way, I would have been dead.  Once I called this a coincidence.  Now I believe it was a miracle.  Sometimes you need to remind yourself of your blessings: today, take yourself back to a time where God came through in a big way.

…For he who comes to God must believe He exists, and rewards those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6, NIV).
