Fishing in The Wrong Pond

“Be sure you put your feet in the right place, then stand firm.”  –Abraham Lincoln

A fisherman wants to make the best catch.  When he casts his line into a pond, and reels in a jagged-tooth Piranha, he may have caught a big fish, but eventually he gets bit.  He fished in the wrong pond.  A man wants to find the best woman.  When he looks for her at the club, and finds one aesthetically pleasing, he may have himself a looker, but very likely he too gets bit.  He looked in the wrong place.  To all the men out there: you won’t find your Christian wives up in the clubs.

Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you (Matthew 7:7, NIV).
