Patient Attention

"If I have ever made any valuable discoveries, it has been owing more to patient attention than to any other talent." -Isaac Newton

Patience is defined as, “capable of waiting” (without becoming annoyed or upset) and attention means, “mental focus.” Sometimes to discover who we are as followers of Christ, it requires patient attention. There are many individuals that want only to honor God with their talents, but aren’t sure how to do it, or even what to do. Patient attention requires getting rid of the ‘get-rich-quick’ ideas and taking on Godly perseverance. It means worrying less with how everyone else has achieved success, and learning what specifically God has purposed you for.
