What Do You Believe?

He does not believe who does not live according to his belief.” - Thomas Fuller

Sometimes in our culture, sincerity is confused with Scriptural accuracy. I’ve met some of the finest, nicest, decent and moral people on the planet—both claiming to be of the Christian faith and not. However, the fact is that one can be sincerely wrong. Nowhere in the Bible does sincerity mean salvation. You are either saved by grace through Christ Jesus, or you’re not. This means accepting the totality of the Word of God, and rejecting ideas that conflict with it. You can’t grow when you don’t know. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the father except through me.” (John 14:6)
