Relishing The Race

“The problem with winning the rat race is you're still a rat.” -Lily Tomlin

In a race, a runner strives with every stride to finish as fast they can. What propels them is the thought of reaching their goal of gold at the finish line. Some can already imagine the sure glory that will ensue. Facts are however that when they finally finish and as soon as the glory begins to glimmer, then the runner realizes the grind they put themselves through every day was actually more gratifying than the gold itself. Relish your race today and give all the glory to God.

“And whatever you do, whether by speech or action, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” –Colossians 3:17
